Chapel Street Windsor says farewell to Tarlo and Graham. An era ends.

Closing-down

Tarlo and Graham are closing their shop on the corner of Chapel and McIlwrick Streets Windsor and moving to their base in Gertrude Street, Fitzroy. They have been in the Windsor location for eleven years.  I will miss them.

I love walking along and exploring the Windsor end of Chapel Street and Tarlo and Graham’s windows have given me great enjoyment over the years. I have written about them here.

I often snapped a quick photo of the windows.  I send these photos to a friend in New Zealand who enjoys the macabre, the bazaar as well as Tarlo and Graham’s style of vintage. She is going to miss them, too.

This is Windsor’s loss.  A little fun and eccentricity has moved on.

Here are some of the photos I have taken over the years.
